Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week: Rachel Zoe

In Rachel Zoe’s fashion fantasy world, we would all look like fabulous jet-set 1970′s rock-stars.  Her collection for Fall 2012  proved that her years as a stylist has taught her well.  Expertly tailored separates, sequined dresses, faux furs, and slouching knits, made for a desperate-to-wear collection.  In fact, it looked like something one would find in Zoe’s own closet.  As expected, everything was styled to perfection; furs and leathers paired with silks and velvets, jacquard metallics and suede platform over-the-knee boots.  Pieces of note included flared leather pants, a navy belted jacket and matching pleated gauchos, a black sheer lace gown paired with a slouchy knit shell,  and a white wrap maxi dress.  The verdict: I know who’s name will grace the label of my fall wardrobe.
