It’s one of those things that will only happen when wearing your brand new suede shoes, or carrying your brand new suede bag: you will be splashed with murky puddle water by a speeding car. Before you start wondering if you can get away with telling people it’s the new dirty grunge look, you might want to pop into the closest drugstore and pick up an emery board. Small spots and stains can be removed from suede by carefully rubbing the emery board back and forth across the offending blotch, refreshing the nap. In the future, a word to the wise – stand outside puddle-splashing reach.
