Shopping For: White Dresses

As little girls, the accessory of choice for our white frilly nightgowns, were white pillow cases pushed back over our heads. As we’ve grown older, our interpretation of a veil has evolved, but our love of wearing white certainly hasn’t, regardless of circumstance or season (“no white after Labor Day” be damned). As fall looms near, envision your summer-long favorite with tights, a belted, chunky cardigan, and stacked-heel booties (seriously, nothing more chic than unexpected chiffon in winter). And as you pass your reflection in a shop window, it’s ok if you’re thinking, “right, together, left, together” – but only in your head.
