Pretend for a moment you haven’t the slightest idea of the trends for Spring 2013 (perhaps you’ve just returned from self-imposed spiritual seclusion deep in the woods, or you know, some kind of spa). All you would need is one look though Stuart Weitzman’s collection for next season, and you’ll know exactly what you’ll be wearing next season. Touching upon the best of what we saw on the runways – luminous metallics, lucite details, embellishments, pointy toes and ivory hues – the vast collection remained cohesive and undoubtedly Weitzman-esque in its refinement. Sky-high wedges were kept slim and sleek, lace-up oxfords, in muted mint green and periwinkle, were openly woven, and prints appeared on clean, pointed pumps. One especially stand-out piece – amongst a collection of stand-outs – was a satin, pointed toe evening bootie with bow on the heel, and a slit down done the front (your legs will appear miles long). Also sure to be on your “It List” for Spring: a sting-ray and woven sky blue heel, and a black and white laceless oxford with tassels.
Take a sneak peek at a small piece of what you’ll be slipping into this Spring:
