Reinforcing the perforated, sporty trend we saw for spring 2012, Ohne Titel showed a streamlined, more constructed version of the look for spring 2013. Designers Alexa Adams and Flora Gill, inspired by the work of Jason Hackenworth and Karl Wirsum, used a color palate of color-blocked blue and black, an almost psychedelic-esque print of red, cream and yellow, and mixed stripes of black and white. Silk separates, in contrast trimmed trousers and shorts, paired with collarless blouses, and T-shirt shaped dresses and tops with open-net mesh panels - all decidedly athletic-influenced – were kept chic by use of clean cuts and tailoring. The shoulder, a focus for Adams and Gill, was shown in a strong, rounded construction. A paneled, side peplum skirt with a beige flared hem, an all white look of a mesh-insert top paired with a paneled flared skirt, and a black, white, and tan printed mini-skirt, were amongst the collection’s favored pieces.
