Whimsical bags add a clever touch to any outfit. During fashion week we saw these quirky accessories popping up in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. Kate Spade showed a series of Asian inspired details, including a bag disguised as a Chinese take-out box. An array of totes with Kellog cereal icons went down the runway at Anya Hindmarch. Including Frosted Flake’s Tony the Tiger and the Corn Flake’s rooster. Jeremy Scott’s McDonalds themed show for Moschino was the talk of Milan fashion week. He gave fast food a new meaning, by making a capsule collection of Mickey D bags and ready-to-wear available for purchase immediately after the show. Karl Lagerfeld turned the runway at Chanel into a shopping center. Models carried Chanel grocery baskets, bags packaged like meat, and clutches in the shape of milk cartons. Take a cue from some of our favorite designers and have a sense of humor with your accessories this season.
